I am so proud of my home-state Wisconsin. We've been in the news twice recently - once for a crazed serial pipe-bomber and now for this Archbishop Weakland guy. I don't think that hush money proves guilt. In today's age even an accusation is enough to destroy a priest's reputation and that would be enough to protect with money, since he obviously had it to spend. But this still requires a thorough investigation. The good news is that the guy who is accusing him has been forgiven by papal bull, along with all the other Catholically molested children out there.

Berkeley's response to pressure is to allow the same freedom of expression as the United States of America. Perhaps in a few decades they might be allowed to join the Union...
